A dog's hearing is tested by whispering its name from 5-6 meters away. Its sense of smell can be tested by testing its ability to independently detect several pieces of meat, previously placed in different locations over a 50x50 meter area. Vision is tested by examining the eyes and observing the dog's pupil response to a hand held to its eye; farsightedness is determined by the distance at which it detects its owner's gestures.

When checking a dog, the commission must pay special ttention to:
a) for the dog’s agility the dog should be fast and energetic, alert and cheerful;
6) interest in the search - the dog should react with interest to the object offered by the owner and quickly rush after it;
c) for the ability to search, the dog must, on command from the owner, search for an object in the grass or in the bushes;
d) the dog's movements should be fast, harmonious, with wide strides.
