The Giant Schnauzer is a highly intelligent, loyal, and even-tempered dog breed. It is considered a versatile breed, capable of performing any task, including guarding, service, and search and rescue. Its origins are believed to be in the southern regions of Germany, although there is evidence that in many regions of Central Europe, wire-haired dogs similar to the Giant Schnauzer were used as shepherds and guards as early as the Middle Ages. The Giant Schnauzer is agile, courageous, incorruptible, and loyal to its owner. It is hardy, unpretentious, and easily adapts to various conditions. Its height is 60-70 cm and its weight is 35-45 kg.
